I had the opportunity to work on this project for Heineken, creating illustrations for characters, background supports and more. Heineken launched a gamified platform called MetaHeineken for employee's training, where they would interact with ludic scenarios while competing with coworkers for real life prizes.
The platform had several thematic stages called 'islands', where users could go and read/watch training material. Four characters were designed to depict users in that journey, and their looks adapted to each of the islands - for example, Music Island and Oktoberfest Island.










Besides the characters, the islands were presented with background images and supporting icons along with the training material. This would help users to absorb knowledge in a less restricted environment.
