There is a trend on social media called DTIYS (Draw This In Your Style), which is when an artist provides an original illustration for the followers to recreate in their own style. People could change whatever they wanted as long as the new piece resembled the original in concept.
In one of these challenges, I did a version of an original illustration from the Instagram artist lord_gris. I tried to adapt the leaves and keep the frog as a focal point, while playing a little with complementary colors.
This next project was a Facebook/Instagram trend where you should draw 6 random characters from movies, cartoons, games, books and such. Artists would usually ask their followers for suggestions, but I decided to try some characters I never really had the chance to draw. I eventually went with Mojo Jojo, from Powerpuff Girls; Blastoise, from Pokémon; Mr. Fredricksen and Dug, from the Pixar movie Up; Scrooge McDuck, from Disney comics; Ciri, from The Witcher franchise; and Yubaba, from Spirited Away.
These illustrations were made for the brazilian CCXP (Comic Con Experience) in partnership with the company GoGamers. As a treat for some of the event's guests, GoGamers had several artists create game-themed illustrations, which were then printed as cards to keep.
